Ainsley graduated from Nicholls State University where she played on the women’s soccer team and chaired the student-athlete advisory committee for the Southland Conference. During her time at Nicholls, Ainsley was not only a standout on the pitch, teammates considered her one of the leaders of the squad. She was also an active tutor for other students, all while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. Ainsley graduated from Nicholls State University in only three years with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. She was inducted into the Nicholls Hall of Fame for her academic and athletic accomplishments. Ainsley received the F.L. McDonald Postgraduate Scholarship, the Southland Conference’s ultimate academic honor for graduating student athletes. In 2023, Nicholls retired her number 28 jersey. The funds raised in Ainsley’s honor will be used for an Endowed Scholarship that will be awarded to a deserving Nicholls soccer player on an annual basis.
